Happy 2018!

Hi Readers,

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves over the Holiday Season; It was extremely busy but lots of fun. There was a great abundance of food, gifts, and laughter shared amongst family & friends.

I have a lot to be grateful for from this previous year; including Stella Luna (my miniature dachshund) sleeping on my lap 🙂 !

A Few Highlights from 2017:
1. I went to Paris last Summer with my family. I have been before, but there is always something new to explore. For example, we ate at the new, trendy restaurant Frenchie. At the Louvre, we explored the fabulous Dior exhibition. We took the train to Reims, France, where we had a tour at Maison Veuve Clicquot. I could go on… but I won’t. This is just a family trip I will treasure forever.

2. Given that I reside in South Florida, my boyfriend & I (Stella, too!) had to flee the state during Hurricane Irma. This was both a chaotic and treasured trip of 2017 as well. At this point in our relationship, he had to see all sides of me; the good and the bad. I do not deal well with stress, and this was a very stressful time for us both. We had to drive, what should take eight hours, 13 hours straight because there was no place to stay. I found Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia to have both beautiful and friendly dog parks and fabulous dining/shopping.

Our Airbnb was not the best (Roach problem), so we moved to a hotel after the fourth night. He still loved me after this; that says a lot.

3. I graduated in May, 2017.

My resolutions for the year of 2018 :
1. Start my Career in Real Estate
2. Keep Blogging
3. Workout 3x a Week
4. Eat Healthier; Eating In more than going Out… This implies I must teach myself to cook. A challenge I accept…
5. Count My Blessings

January is always my dry month; I watch my spending the most! However, I will post my favorite Sale finds for you all.

There are so many to choose from…

Happy New Year Everyone!

Sweater Weather Picks

Going home (the Midwest) in just a few days quickly transitions my fashion picks from light weight cotton to heavy knit or cashmere sweaters. The Neiman Marcus Cashmere Collection offer many colors other than grey & they are on sale right now. In between, I included Asos & Anthropologie sweaters. They are not on sale but under $100 with the exception of one (the yellow). Then, The bottom five can be rented from RTR! Hope you enjoy my picks!

Suede & Floral

Had a blast last weekend in Dallas, TX visiting my sister for her Birthday & a Surprise Engagement 💍!

Here’s what I wore to her Birthday Brunch – I found this little $89 number at the Zara in Dallas & fell in love. It would also look cute with tall black suede boots, but I live in South Florida so that’s why booties are my fall/winter go-to.

I get that my booties are a bit of a splurge; so make sure to check out My Favorite Booties post published on the blog earlier this week. Zara.com sells some very cute ones as well.

My Summer GO-TO Nail Colors

With it already being August, I thought I should share some of my favorite Summer nail colors. These are still great colors to keep wearing until about Labor Day Weekend!

Draper James Oak Hill Pant

Like my outfit?! Well, lucky for you I’m sharing with you exactly where to go get it… All!

First my pants because Draper James is having a huge sale right now that you do not want to miss. Cute, right?! Not to mention the irony in the name because my grade school was Oak Hill.

Next, is my navy tank. It is from Lilly Pulitzer. Of course, you can get a navy top anywhere. I originally bought it to go with a Lilly printed pant. I’m very happy with it, though. So if you have the money, just go for it.

And last are my shoes!! I bought/ got these back in May for my Bday. I really searched for them because everywhere I looked in person (Saks, NM) no longer had them as in Sold Out. Well, lucky for you and me- I found them on Moda Operandi !! Given it’s the end of summer, keep in mind they are also now running low on sizes, but I will say maybe a different color? I have really loved these because once broken in, they are the most comfortable shoes.

Well, that’s it for now.

Happy Friday & Shopping!!
